FAST invites you along to the 2nd consecutive FLAG meeting of 2015 being held within Portcullis House at Wesminster and hosted by Peter Wishart MP.

Guests will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts on the EU Cybersecurity plan addressing the issues our businesses face in the UK economy whilst facing the challenges of IP protection and cybercrime in the cloud from leading specialist of Evidence Talks.

  • Cybersecurity and the NIS Directive: What cloud computing businesses need to know about the UK’s interpretation of the EU Cybersecurity plan to protect open internet and online freedom and opportunity - Cyber Security strategy.

  • The Big Mischief, Internet enabled cybercrime and threats: New horizons, challenges of IP protection and cybercrime. How the world has changed with the advent of cloud computing.

  • Cloud Computing: Export Controls and Sanctions: Export controls and sanctions - History and policy concerns, the legal regime: EU, UK, and US, civil and criminal penalties, how uploading software or technology (encryption software) to the 'cloud' can risk breaching export controls or sanctions, traps for the unwary and licence regimes and compliance solutions.

Members may attend for free. But, being a not-for-profit organisation, we need to charge a small fee to non-members of £70 plus VAT as a contribution towards the organisation of the event.
