We have teamed up with leading experts from the Intellectual Property Office and Pen Test Partners to cover a variety of interesting topics including:

The webinar will be chaired by Dawn Osborne from the Federation Against Software Theft and conclude with an interactive Q&A session, where you will have the opportunity to pose questions to our panel of experts.
Oxbridge educated, Dawn Osborne has almost thirty years’ experience as an IP lawyer. Having qualified in the City and been a partner for twenty years in top tier IP boutique firms, she returned recently to the city as a partner of McCarthy Denning primarily involved in litigation, advice and mediation. She has been on the Board of Directors of FAST as Counsel and Chair of its Legal Action Group for well over ten years. She has been recommended as an IP STAR by Managing Intellectual Property Magazine based on client or peer reviews. Her expertise covers trademarks, copyright, designs and confidentiality/privacy. She has a particular reputation as an Internet lawyer being an expert in domain name resolution for WIPO, NAF, Nominet and for the .eu and UDRP procedures of the CAC and extensive experience in entertainment (computer games, publishing, music, film, theatre and sport), media, fashion, and luxury goods including high end jewellery, watches and motor vehicles.
David Berry is a senior associate in the commercial, outsourcing and technology team at Stephenson Harwood with a specific focus on large technology and outsourcing projects having led on a number of deals acting on deals involving SAP, Microsoft, HP and Oracle. David is very active in this field and, as well as having a Masters degree specialising in IT/IP related issues, he is on the London committee for the Society for Computers and Law.
Megan Heap is the Head of Strategy Development and Delivery for IP Enforcement at the Intellectual Property Office. Her team is responsible for refreshing the government’s strategy on IP enforcement, ensuring that we maintain and strengthen our world-leading enforcement regime and continue to be recognised internationally as a leader and innovator in this area. Prior to this she was Head of Trade Policy at the IPO and also has previous experience in development and European policy in relation to intellectual property.
Ken Munro is a partner at Pen Test Partners LLP, a firm of penetration testers who specialise in helping organisations understand and quantify risk to their business. He speaks and presents regularly, and blogs on everything from hacking aeroplanes, cars and ships to cyber liability insurance and payment card security, and also writes for various newspapers and industry magazines in an effort to get beyond the unhelpful scaremongering put about by many security vendors. He has been working in IT security for over 20 years.
